YOUR KEY CONTRIBUTIONS

As our Machinist, you’ll be the one who creates precision parts to support the manufacture of customized machinery and packaging equipment. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by:

  • Ability to read prints, including GD&T

  • Competency with manual vertical mills (Bridgeport-type)

  • Competency with manual floor lathes

  • Experience with 2 ½ and 5-axis CNC VMC’s, including programming as well as operating

  • Experience with drill presses, saws and other various metal working tooling, ALL power and hand tools

  • Capable of working with small parts, manual dexterity, appropriate hand–eye coordination with visual acuity skills required

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Either 2-4 years of experience in production machining environment operating CNC machines OR a 4-year technical degree with limited experience

  • Always maintain a clean and safe working environment

  • Possess quality focus, sound judgment and decision making

  • Ability to lift or move 50 pounds frequently

  • On-the-job training will be provided (we will help you become the Omega expert!)

  • You’ll report to the Material Manager
