Computer-Based Virtual Training
Omega Design has partnered with Product Animations, Inc. to provide you with a customized computer-based training and resource module called VRTrain.
The VRTrain software renders “a fully immersive and interactive virtual 3D environment that permits off-line, self-paced learning before introduction to the actual shop floor. Using a PC and a mouse, users are able to navigate within the virtual production environment and interact with the equipment without risk of injury to themselves, the equipment or the product”.
Among other benefits, VRTrain allows you to:
- practice machine procedures without any downtime.
- train or refresh employees at their own pace.
- maximize learning by pre-training employees prior to instructor-led training

Omega Design has the tools and skills to prepare your staff to effectively and safely operate your packaging machinery.
We can provide you on-site training for any of our standard or custom designed packaging machinery. Both the Operator and Technician Training courses include classroom instruction and hands-on practice at the machine.
Omega’s course instructors are friendly, articulate, and certified by the Packaging Machinery Manufacturer’s Institute (PMMI). Plus, they all have extensive mechanical, electrical and programming knowledge of your machine.
