Testimonials

Teva has purchased and incorporated Omega equipment in the past, and we have always been happy with their machines’ quality design and ... excellent after sales service

This last point - customer service - was key, because we were planning to implement the new equipment multi-nationally. Due to this global scale, we needed to be sure our needs would be met expertly and expeditiously should we run into any unforeseen obstacles after the lines were incorporated.

- Gabi Cherniak, Consultant for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries

A Living Legacy

Omega began as a classic American success story.

After serving his country in the Korean War as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with the 578th Engineer Battalion, Robert “Bob” Siegele returned home in 1953 to marry his sweetheart Joan. Together, they moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1962, raised a family and grew two successful businesses. First, in 1962, Bob founded R.W. Siegele Company, serving as a sales representative for packaging and processing machinery manufacturers. Feeling frustrated at the manufacturers’ lack of commitment to its customers, Bob sought a better way. In 1969, Bob founded Omega Design Corporation in a shed behind his house. His mechanical skill and intuition combined with his ability to identify an emerging market, gave him the edge needed to jump start the company. Over time, he nurtured his relationships and grew a team of talented and loyal employees, who helped transform the company into a global provider of world class packaging machinery.
